Drunken Tiger is a korean hip hop musician acclaimed worldwide which debuted in 1999 and has since released eight albums. In an era of packaged pop, repetitious ballads, and hip hop music been deliriously depicted as a racial and womanizing music, Drunken Tiger debuted and reformed the Korean music industry with their unique hip hop music sound and realistic lyrics. Although the hip hop music encountered resistance to conform to mainstream music’s conventions initially made them one of the more controversial figures in Korea’s conservative media, Drunken Tiger is now seen as one of the most influential and central pioneers of Korea’s mainstream hip hop music scene.
Recently the vocalist Tiger JK (Drunken Tiger) altogether with his wife, also a famous hip hop music artist and producer Tasha, created a hip hop group called Sunzoo, which feats hip hop artist from all over Asia.
